The Happiest Place on Earth

My fabulous sister allowed me to tag along with her & her family to one of my favorite places in the world...DISNEYLANDI got to spend a lot of time with this cute little gal (which always makes me happy). We enjoyed a lovely display of fireworks from our hotel balcony the first night we got there. The people at Disney sure pay attention to detail - which is something I adore about them. These kids made the trip extra special. We played...
& we played.
We were pretty serious about our playing...
(I just noticed my score, how embarassing!!!)
I improved this time around, but still have a pretty serious look on my face.
These kiddos were sometimes brave (& sometimes not so much, ahem...Bennett?). Nora, I must love you because this ride went around & around and I HATE around & around.
Lucy & I whooped her Mom & Dad in the very s...l...o...w bumper cars.I had a great time,as much as I did miss my Jordy.
I enjoyed:
*relaxing
*riding the rides
*chatting with my love on the phone
*walking around the Magical park
*getting stuck on the Indiana Jones ride & getting a bonus ride
***drinking the miracle working Coke that I 100% b.e.l.i.e.v.e tastes better at Disneyland
*listening to The Lightening Thief in the car
*getting woken up in the morning by a sweet little girl asking where I was
***spending some quality time with my sister

Romantic Weekend for Two

I wish there was no sarcasm in the title of this post...I also wish this was us, going out on a Romantic date for Valentine's Day.
But, alas, this was not us Valentine's weekend.
(This was not us even anytime recently, I just liked the picture.)
Instead, we were cooped up all weekend doing 1 of 2 things...
1. Talk writing
2. Talk giving
Boo!!!
Both of us were asked to speak at the Stake baptism's for the month on Saturday. We teach the CTR 7 class (the kids are turning 8) & had 2 girls being baptized so that is how we got roped into that one. Then both of us were asked to speak in Sacrament Meeting on Sunday.
Instead of being Saint Valentine's Day, it was Jordan & Megan Weekend! Our topic for church was Gratitude. I was grateful for this topic. I did have a grand time writing the talk & it reminded me to be Thankful in ALL things. So, even though my Valentine's Day wasn't so Romantic,
I am Thankful for the refresher course on Gratitude.
I guess we did do something rather fabulous/delicious...

We did go to Ted's Hot Dogs. Mmmm....Ted's Hot Dogs...

We hope your weekend had a little bit more of a Romantic agenda to it.

Oh, but don't forget to be Grateful in ALL things as well.

Beninem

Happy Birthday Ben!33 years old & growing ever more famous with each year.
In 33 years Ben has made more friends than most people will in an entire lifetime.
Ben goes by Beninem because he is performer. He writes his own raps & just recorded his first song. He performs his hip-hop in all sorts of places & is becoming quite popular. We are all proud of you bro.
My mom asked if I would make him a Birthday Cake. I call this Ben's Birthday Cake Explosion!!!I thought he deserved a big BANG!!!
(I'm working on my cake handwriting, don't judge.)
