Flagstaff, Arizona

We had a fun weekend in the mountains with family! The weather was lovely and our surroundings were even lovelier. It was so gorgeous up there.

Oliver was in little boy heaven exploring, collecting sticks, fishing with grandpa, watching dragon flies, throwing rocks, scaring ducks and chasing lizards.
Edison was happy to be reminded that in cooler weather we can take walks and look at all the trees and birds he likes.

Look at this little happy face peeking behind the rails.

Grandma and grandpa babysat Edison while he napped so the rest of us could ride the ski lift at Snowbowl.
It was a long ride and went much higher than I anticipated - apparently I've turned into a whimp in my old age.
It followed that entire green line up to the tippy top of the mountain. I would have been fine if it were just me and Jordan, but thinking of Oliver slipping through, ugh - it stressed me out a little.

Once we got to the top though - Wow!

The first part coming down made my legs wobble, but after that it was just a great view, wonderful pine scents and nice chilly weather!

After that we all enjoyed pizza together on the patio soaking up the weather, good food and good company.
Oliver wanted his picture with this lizard friend.
Grandpa taught him to fish (minus actually catching fish because there probably weren't any in this stream) but it was fun none the less!

It wasn't a nearly long enough vacay and we hated to come home to a weather forecast of 105 for days, but what can you do!?!

Thanks for making it happen Grandma and Grandpa and thank you so much to the Olson's for allowing us to stay in their home once again. We are so looked after and cared for. ♥♥♥
