We went to the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum where we learned more about the fabulous Lonestar State.
The museum had an IMAX theatre where we saw Hubble 3D. It was A*m*a*z*i*n*g! It went deeper into the incredible images the telescope has taken. I kept asking myself...Are these images real or computer designed? Apparently they are 100% real.
This image is called The Pillars of Creation
Orion Nebula (One of the three stars of Orion's Belt)Last year the space shuttle Atlantis took off to make one final repair to the Hubble space telescope. It will not be serviced again. Once it no longer operates, it will simply be left to drift along in space. Seeing the 3D video footage of this 'blast-off' was spectacular. This is one of the first images taken after the final repairs were completed.
The Butterfly Nebula Needless to say, if you get the chance to see Hubble 3D, I highly recommend doing so.
After the museum, we wandered over to the very impressive State Capital Building...again...luckily, it is so super duper cool it doesn't get old. It is a must-see & these guys needed to see it.
Quite the Grand Entrance...Jordan...very excited to get his picture taken, again, in front of the Capital.
We ate like kings, of course.
We also did a little shopping & saw Charlie St. Cloud {which I liked & I am now looking forward to reading the book}. We had a really nice time with The Rogers. I always enjoy chatting with them. I was sad to see them leave for home this morning. Luckily, we are less than 2 weeks behind them. Can you believe it has already been 3 months - - I can't.

That went way too fast, but we're glad we get to see you both again soon. Thanks for a great time! Love you!
